    North Pointer | O&O Studio x REhyphenation
    North Point Public Pier

“North Pointer” upcycled furniture that carries unique stories and memories donated by North Point residents. After the redesign and transformation of each furniture, “North Pointer” becomes a family member of North Point, and continues to create collective memories for all with everyone being responsible for the management of the “North Pointer”. This project aims to strengthen the bond between community members, and to re-create public spaces for all sorts of activities. Ultimately, we wish to utilize the overlooked harbourfront into a hangout spot of North Point.

O&O Studio is formed by co-founders, Suzanne Li and Eric Chan, who are both UK registered architects with rich experiences on public space installation and have led several internationally renowned projects in the past years. Artist Joyce Fok of REhyphenation is a visual art teacher. She has strong interest in 3D design and has been creating functional furniture as her artistic practices. Her works often pose the audiences to rethink possibilities. The joint creative force hopes to cultivate and inject inventive ideas to public space through their collaboration.
